SABC, unions sign wage agreement
NEWSWATCH: The national broadcaster and unions have signed a wage agreement that sees a 10% salary increase across the board - workers will get an immediate 8.5% and a further 1.5% from December 2009. Both are backdated to 1 April, and if the SABC makes an operational profit of R21 million at the end of the 2009/10 financial year, workers will benefit there as well, reports IOL.
