Tapping into the soccer spectator market

With exclusive access to the Premier Soccer League (PSL) fixtures list, consisting of all the games, matches, tournaments and when specific teams are playing, Primedia Activation's new sales and marketing partnership with Go To The Game (GTTG) has resulted in packages that target soccer spectators at stadiums countrywide.
Tapping into the soccer spectator market

The partnership will provide experiential marketing and sampling activities at matches, a concept allegedly first seen in an overseas sports stadium several years ago and brought to South Africa by Krisen Govender from GTTG.

Primedia @ Home MD Trevor Ormerod, says, "The kick-off to the 2006 PSL games [began in] August, and will run until 2008. During that period Primedia Activation and GTTG will have the logistical and management support of Primedia @ Home's considerable resources."

The PSL package offers clients the opportunity to interact directly with this market (LSMs range from 4 - 7). Advertisers also benefit from exclusive access to consumers in and around the stadium, as well as those in VIP Suites within the stadium.

Primedia Activation and GTTG offer overall marketing, distribution, brand awareness, sampling and consumer feedback.
