Reshaping media – new media, new models, new rules, new results

Media is on the move. Consumers are on the move and multi-platform content and entertainment are everywhere. Brands need to move from interruption to engagement. The ‘Reshaping Media' seminars, to be hosted by Platypus Productions in November 2007 in Cape Town and Johannesburg, will bring together thought-leaders and decision makers to examine the challenges of modern advertising and how to engage with empowered consumers in the digital age.

Reshaping Media' was first hosted by Platypus Productions in 2005 to provide an industry event for key players in the advertising, digital media, production, marketing, mobile, web, broadband and satellite broadcasting industries.

Stanley Edwards of Platypus Productions will be once again be attending MIPCOM in Cannes as well as MoCollywood and the MediaGuardian Changing Advertising Summit in London prior to the Reshaping Media Seminars. Edwards. together with thought-leaders and decision makers will be covering the following topics:

  • Branded entertainment: the brand, the agency, the broadcaster and the producer
  • Beyond banners: online advertising meets Web 2.0
  • Mobile content and mobile marketing
