Job description:

We are looking for a motivated and creative social media/digital marketing Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will have very strong writing abilities (copywriting), and assist with a variety of social media and digital marketing activities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in digital marketing while contributing to a growing company.

Key responsibilities:

• Copywriting for social media and digital marketing 
• Assist in the creation and execution of social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Develop engaging and creative content for social media posts.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and feedback, and engage with our client's audience.
• Analyse social media performance metrics and provide regular reports on campaign effectiveness.
• Support social media campaigns, including content creation, scheduling, and analysis.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop new digital marketing strategies.
• Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities for engagement.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in writing, marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
• Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
