Media24 secures FIFA rights in Africa
Media24 Africa has secured the rights to publish the official guide to the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany and also the official colouring-in book for the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany for distribution in Africa.
Territories include Angola, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Togo, Ivory Coast and Uganda. The official guide and colouring-in book will be available from the end of May 2006.
Douw Steyn, CEO of Media24 Africa, says: "Media24 Africa is fast becoming the leading publisher of printed material in Africa and the licensing agreement with FIFA presents opportunities in established and new territories.
"We are confidant that the official guide and colouring-in book will be a sought-after item given the huge enthusiasm for football across Africa."
