MMA, SOS support SABC strike
Media Monitoring Africa (MMA) and the SOS Support Public Broadcasting Coalition (SOS) has expressed its support of the strike action taken by the Broadcasting, Electronic, Media & Allied Workers Union (Bemawu) and the Communication Workers Union (CWU) at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC).
SOS and MMA also noted that the strike has come at a sensitive moment and called on all parties involved to display cool heads and exercise restraint to resolve the issues as soon as possible.
