M&M's bash for Shrek The Third
M&M's®, the official confectionary sponsor of Shrek The Third in SA, hosted an exclusive media and celebrity bash at Nu Metro, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town on Sunday 24 June 2007. This event was conceptualised and implemented by Cape Town based public relations agency, Greater Than, on behalf of M&M's®.
The star studded guestlist included Natalie Becker, Dave Levinsohn, Marc Lottering, Michelle McLean, Tanit Phoenix, Minki van der Westhuizen and of course the M&M's® spokescandies, Mr Red and Mr Yellow. Adorning tiara's, bling and in some cases ogre ears and swords, guests were treated to novelty Mr Red-shaped M&M's® snack packs and sipped on sensational M&M's® Ogre-Tini's and Princess Potion's, especially designed for this colourful occasion by Liquid Chefs.
After the screening, the fun continued at world-class restaurant, Blues, overlooking the palm fringed beach of Camps Bay. With M&M's® Frozen Lime Margarita's on arrival, guests then sat down to a royal three course feast which featured the mouth watering Blues Modern Italian Cuisine and ended off with specially prepared white chocolate brownies, made with M&M's®, the chocolate that melts in your mouth, not in your hands.
And if this wasn't enough, guests went home with a colourful gift, packed with M&M's® goodies including packs of Ogre-sized M&M's®, which boast special Shrek The Third packaging for the occasion, Skittles, caps, pens and Shrek 1 and 2 DVD's. With the memory of their favourite ogre fresh in their heads and lots of yummy M&M's® to take home, guests were really shown that chocolate is better in colour.
