The vehicle, which was in a burnt state prior to the artwork, was torched on 6 May in an attempt to discourage Sea Point residents Peter and Lesley Wagenaar - the owners of the car - from feeding homeless people. McFadzean said she was delighted by the opportunity to transform the exterior of the Mini into an artwork that is reflective of the Wagenaars' ethos....
The Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA) recently reopened with Home Is Where The Art Is: Art Is Where The Home Is, a proudly Capetonian exhibition, which showcases around 2,000 artworks from Cape Town-based professional and amateur artists, children, collectors and others.
