Targeting students and Wi-Fi users

HipZone, a wireless internet service provider with a large network of Wi-Fi hotspots and HipCampus, which provide Wi-Fi networks across leading universities, has teamed up with Digitalmark to offer advertisers an opportunity to tap into the hotspots and its student market.

It affords them the opportunity to expose their brands, survey the users of the hotspots and add student appeal, by sponsoring the free data on offer to users each day.

HipCampus is in place at the University of Pretoria campus and is in the process of rolling out networks over Wits, University of the Western Cape, Cape University of Technology and Stellenbosch University. HipZone are networks of a specific nature/audience such as Vida Café's, Kuaui stores, Protea Hotels and an expanding array of niche landscapes.
