That long and winding road
The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) suggests that South Africans drive on some of the world's best road networks in its first ever television commercial - a light-hearted look at one traveler who just can't get enough of getting around by road.
The ad, flighted in October, which is Transport Month, aims to stimulate awareness of the SANRAL brand amongst the seven million South Africans who use a road in some way every day.
Created by advertising and communications house, Blueprint, the 45-second commercial records a journey by road from Johannesburg to Cape Town by two unlikely characters and the events along the way.
The television commercial is a collaborative between SANRAL and the Department of Transport, produced by Peter Gird Productions.
