A1GP hosted supercar parade
The A1 Grand Prix, which took place at Kyalami featured an exclusive supercar parade. The event, previously held in Durban, has been a resounding success as a street race and is now poised to be even more successful and exciting in a formal racetrack environment.
Neo Africa was appointed by the international A1GP committee to host the Charity Supercar Parade. Owners of supercars such as Ferarris, Lamborghinis, Porsches and Aston Martins paid an entrance fee of R40 000, which gave them an opportunity to experience the Kyalami track on an international race day and to see what these powerful machines can truly deliver.
All proceeds went to the motorsport development fund and were handed over at a special ceremony around the event. The motorsport development fund shall benefit historically disadvantaged drivers and women and integrates such talent and potential into motorsport in South Africa.
