GQ's SA 50 Best Dressed Men of the Year
GQ named South Africa's 50 Best Dressed Men of the Year on Wednesday 25 October 2006. Each finalists' picture and brief comment have been published in an inbound supplement distributed with GQ's November issue.
The top 10 will be named and awarded separately, with an overall winner. The top 10 receive prizes from the sponsors TAG Heuer, POLO Black, Redken for Men, Chivas Regal and Mumm Champagne.
The 50 were selected by a panel of judges representing GQ magazine. The panel includes Arthur Malan, GQ fashion editor; Craig Tyson, GQ editor; Michelle Constant, GQ contributing editor; Noni Gasa, media personality; and Robert Cilliers, GQ art director and associate editor.
The winners were those who the judges felt showed the ability for smart, distinctive dressing with individual flair.
This was not a competition, but an award presented by GQ Magazine.
