21 ICONS is a showcase for the South African spirit; a tribute to the men and women who have helped to shape our country and, indeed, our world. 21 ICONS South Africa featured the tenth icon of its second season: Tebello Nyokong, renowned scientist, chemist and professor at Rhodes University. Nyokong’s work on cancer treatments is breaking new ground. She humbly insists that she is just one of several contributors, but it’s clear that her contribution is a significant one.
