Lowe Bull appointed to handle VW's SEAT account
Volkswagen, South Africa has partnered with Lowe Bull to create a marketing campaign for its forthcoming introduction of the SEAT Brand.
With a sporty, stylish image, the SEAT Brand is well established in Europe. Spanish in origin, SEAT was brought into the Volkswagen Group in 1986 when the Group acquired a majority share in the company. In 1990, SEAT became wholly owned by the Volkswagen Group. Since the acquisition, SEAT has shown steady growth and development in European and other international markets.
However, Volkswagen local sales and marketing director Mike Glendinning stated, "The awarding of the SEAT Brand to Lowe Bull does not affect the Volkswagen and Audi Brand business within the Ogilvy Group."
The planned introduction of SEAT in South Africa will be around mid-year.
