iBurst is broadband provider of the year
Wireless broadband provider iBurst was recently named "Broadband Provider of the Year" at the People's Choice Awards, which formed part of the annual MyADSL Broadband Conference held at Vodaworld in Midrand. iBurst was recognised for its rollout of coverage and services, as well as for boosting its investment in customer service.
According to iBurst's CEO, Thami Mtshali, "iBurst is a vastly different company to what it was 18 months ago and we're pleased consumers and other stakeholders have taken notice of our increased energy, enthusiasm and investment."
The awards, held last Friday, 24 November 2006, were based entirely on the votes by broadband consumers, with almost 1000 responses received.
