Ice Art, specialists in hand-carved ice sculptures, carved the bar using an array of ice tools ranging from chisels and chainsaws to angle grinders and ice irons. Consisting of eight blocks of ice, which made up the panels of the bar, it weighed in excess of a ton. They also created a snow rendering of the Patrón Tequila Bee logo and Patrón bottles frozen into the clear ice.

The counter of the ice bar was 2m long and held two giant ice-sculptured luges on either end from which the Patron Tequila was siphoned to ensure the tequila was perfectly chilled when it hit the glass.
