MFSA offers free listing in new directory

The Marketing Federation of South Africa (mfsa) has announced the development of a comprehensive new suppliers' directory for the marketing and communications industry. All paid-up mfsa members can have their details included at no cost.

Dee Blackie, executive chair of the mfsa, says the mfsa is often called on to provide contact details of marketing and communications suppliers: "We are turning this opportunity into a benefit for our members through the creation of the 'Complete Marketing and Communications Suppliers Directory'."

Participation in the directory requires only submission of the following details:

  • Your company name;
  • A contact person and contact details, including your website address;
  • A brief introduction to your company of no more than 50 words;
  • A complete list of your products and services;
  • Your company logo; and
  • Categories that you would like to be listed under.

    An e-mail with the above information can be sent to . Members are entitled to one free listing, but for a nominal fee, can be listed under additional categories.

    Individual members have to be listed as freelance suppliers; however, to list a company name, these members will need to upgrade to a corporate membership. More information on membership upgrades can be obtained from or

    The directory will be launched at the end of September. Details will be updated on an annual basis on renewal of memberships. Blackie adds that the mfsa will support the directory through an extensive communication and PR campaign, its own communication vehicles, including the mfsa's Journal of Marketing, the mfsa's e-News, as well as the Website and through various mfsa networking events and media partners.
