The top Google searches of 2015
This year has had its ups and downs, from celebrating the legalisation of gay marriage to the recent attacks in Paris and the plight of the refugees.
The most searched topic on Google was about former NBA star, Lamar Odom who was discovered unconscious in a Nevada brothel earlier in the year. Unsurprisingly "Star Wars" had a massive search count of 155+ million counts.
"Paris under attack" generated 897+ million views and the "Migrant Crisis" was searched 23+ million times.
Other top searches included the top athlete, Ronda Rousey, the top actor, Charlie Sheen, and the top meme going to Pepe the Frog.
