Recognising eventing excellence

Scan Display won four prestigious awards at the annual EXSA Awards recently. EXSA is the Exhibitions Association for Southern Africa which monitors and evaluates stands and displays at exhibitions throughout South Africa.

The winning awards were for: Magudu Stand (Portable medium category) for Lamberts Kretzchmar at Decorex Property Expo; Telkom Stand (System medium category) for Telkom at The Eastern Cape Industrial Fair; Phoenix (System Large category) at Electra Mining Africa; ABSA Stand (Custom built large category) in partnership with Samplex and Stone Eye Project management at The Rand Show.

Started in 1996, Scan Display's founders Justin Hawes, Managing Director and Chairman, Alex Hawes, have built the company into a dynamic visual communicator for clients participating in exhibitions and trade shows. They have consolidated their place as a leader in the marketplace by creatively transforming the clients' message into powerful visual presentations.

Speaking of the EXSA awards, Justin Hawes said, "It is really a fantastic achievement and recognizes Scan Display's creativity with regard to stand building and design. The EXSA awards are like the Louries for the exhibition industry. It is going to be really difficult to repeat this achievement."
