Street furniture overhaul begins next week

As part of its ethos of ongoing innovation, the ADreach Group of Companies will be embarking on a national overhaul that will see every piece of ADreach street furniture undergoing major upgrades for improved functionality and aesthetic appeal. Installation of the new 1m x 1.5m Street Pole Ad frames in Johannesburg marks the start of these upgrades, beginning next week, mid-September 2008, until March 2009.

The permanently-placed new format Street Pole Ad frame is intended to not only offers clients increased value (and impact) for their money, but also to deliver a clean, consistent and unified city look and feel, with visually enhanced frames placed at a standardised height and angle.

Forming part of the Street Pole Ad upgrade will be the careful assessment of each and every site to ensure optimum visibility and advertising value for money. Sites will be measured against criteria such as visibility, traffic volumes, commuter LSMs, roadside proximity and illumination. A revised grading system that evaluates sites from intersection to intersection will replace the current road by road system and every site will be stringently graded according to advertising value.

The will be no additional cost to clients, with 2008 annual rental increases applied to print and production instead of flighting (effective October 2008).
