5FM DJ's Ian F and Sasha Martinengo were approached by Reach For A Dream to help the 20 children fulfil their wishes and earlier this week, the two DJs went on air asking listeners to pledge what they could.
Within 48 hours those dreams had everything they asked for.
Said Ian F: "South Africans' generosity has truly blown me away! Over two days we have been given so many amazing gifts for the kids! Thank you South Africa, your generosity is astounding!"
Added Sasha Martinengo, "Being a father, I'm very emotional about children and their plight and to see children in difficulty is sad. And to be able to assist them in this small way brings tremendous joy to my heart."
