- Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competitors
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers on time
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
- Continue to service, grow, and act as a strong client liaison to Orca Media’s key accounts across the country, requiring constant communication, strategy, and high levels of customer service to agencies
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance and industry insights
- Recommend innovative advertising campaigns, media buying strategies, and performance measurement techniques to optimise client ROI and drive customer satisfaction
- Negotiate and finalise advertising agreements, ensuring terms and conditions are mutually beneficial and align with company policies
- Ensure contract compliance and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of advertising campaigns, working closely with internal teams to ensure flawless delivery
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse data and metrics, and provide regular reports and insights to clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry challenges, and emerging opportunities
- Utilise market knowledge to proactively position the company as a leader in the advertising industry
- Proven experience as a key account manager
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals at all organisational levels
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
- Proven track record of success in ad sales and key account management
- In-depth understanding of advertising principles, media buying, and digital marketing trends
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent relationship-building and client-management abilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, Excel, and other sales and reporting tools
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Ability to create a strategic deck for clients
