When oh when will this government realise that the voice of truth will NEVER be silenced?
Manyi says the government is "not messing around" and will buy time on TV, but the question might be: Why bother?
The government already has its tame mouthpiece, the SABC (once described by the media's other friend Julius as "ours"). So, here's an idea: why not just be done with it, admit that the national broadcaster is there to serve the government and promote its interests and simply load the airwaves with even more "praise singers" than at present with the mission to ply the "Gov's Truth"?
"We are at the moment trying to procure a space. As the government, we take communication seriously and we will stop at nothing to see to it that our messages get across," Manyi said.
Well, don't be surprised if most thinking viewers stop at nothing - and switch channels.
