South African Mozambique partnership for Africa Games 2011

The marketing and communications for the 10th All-Africa Games, taking place 3-18 September 2011 in Maputo, Mozambique, will be handled jointly by South African company, HMC Seswa and Mozambican integrated strategic marketing and communications company, Ferro & Ferro. Ferro & Ferro will be organising the games and HMC Seswa will manage the media relations in Africa and globally for the event taking place in Mozambique.

"We have a good working relationship with the company that spans for over 16 years, partnering them on many projects such as the compilation of a 120 page magazine on high profile businesses in Mozambique and the Maputo Development Corridor. I believe that once again, good results will come out of the games," says Johanna McDowell, CEO of HMC Seswa Corporate Communications.

Her company has a 28 year record of service to both local and multi-national companies in South Africa, providing specialist PR services to companies operating in the B2B, IT, mining, manufacturing, heavy engineering and transport sectors.

Ferro & Ferro are license holders for the broadcast rights of the 2011 All Africa Games and its work includes production on projects in Maputo City and it has also been involved in events in locations such as Lost City, Sandton, Kruger National Park, Nelspruit, White River, Mbabane, Victoria Falls and Cairo. Its director executive, Mario Ferro, says, "I look forward to working with the company again to make the most of the games next year."
