Launch of Models & Pageantry SA e-zine

"When we set about creating the magazine, we knew we needed to be able to compete on an international scale, whilst still offering a distinctly African feel," explains Madelain Roscher, managing editor. "Our inaugural edition includes the activities of international models, beauty kings and queens and local content celebrating the achievements of Candice Swanepoel, Melinda Bam and Alek Wek to name but a few; a trend which we intend to keep up in all issues of the magazine."
The publication offers expert advice and provides readers with hints and tips, fashion advice and how best to launch and sustain a successful career in both industries.
The magazine will talk about some of the issues plaguing the modelling and pageantry trade. The December edition includes articles on the dangers of size zero, how young models can protect themselves on photo shoots and castings and the issue of lack of racial diversity on runways.
