The property has a koi pond that uses recycled underground water. The colourful office walls are painted with non-toxic paint to minimise environmental impact and the buildings are fitted with Light-Emitting Diodes. "LED lighting systems use 12% to 15% of the power needed for a standard incandescent bulb," says Janine Hills, CEO Vuma Reputation Management.

The team has made a conscious effort to create a green workplace. All daily and weekly newspapers and the paper used in the office are recycled. Old magazines are donated to the local old-age home.

"Environmentalism has become a part of our overall business operating strategy. For instance, the team travels together when going to the same place, which saves time, money and fuel," she concludes.
