Prism Awards jury selected

Public relations practitioner Marilyn Watson chairs the panel, having previously worked for Multichoice as external communications head. PRISA says Watson is "imminently qualified to judge these awards.” The panel includes two international judges, Jon White and Richard Linning and first time judges, Aaron Ngema, Premilla Hamid, Alistair Mokoena and Peter Sullivan.

According to PRISA, the appointment of Ngema of GEDA is an appropriate move, given that one of its core functions is strategic communications that assist in building mutually beneficial relationships between the agency and its stakeholders, the public and the media.

Awards will be presented to professionals in the public relations and communications industries who have successfully incorporated strategy, creativity and professionalism into their public relations initiatives at the awards ceremony on 31 March 2010 at the Gallagher Convention Centre.
