How South Africa’s conservation efforts can thrive with Indian partnership

Emmy award winning producer/distributor Dan Jawitz announced last week that Lightning Entertainment, a Los Angeles-headquartered sales company that distributes theatrical motion pictures worldwide, has acquired international rights to the independent feature film. Additionally, Indigenous Film Distribution has picked up the African distribution rights.
Others include Lance Gewer (director of photography) and Megan Gil (editor), part of the team, which helped tsotsi to win an Academy Award, award winning costume designer Ruy Phillipe and seasoned production designer, Chantel Carter.
"We're very excited to be working with Lightning Entertainment Group and Indigenous and I'm confident the film will make a splash at Cannes, where our sales campaign kicks off," said Roberts.
The main investors are the IDC, NFVF, Fireworx Media and Timeframe Films.
