Drupal is a popular open source development frameworks and has a community of well over 1,000,000 individuals actively contributing to its code base. Well known websites built using Drupal include the South African, UK and US government sites, publishers like the Economist and Fox News and entertainers including Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.
DrupalCamp Cape Town boasts 12 talks by local and international industry speakers. According to organiser Jason Lewis, their presentations will run in two tracks: "Track one will cover more practical aspects such as frontend design and SEO which will be useful to those with more of a business-oriented mindset, while track two will focus more on hardcore coding and Drupal 8."
The event is being held at Friends of Design, 186 Bree Street, Cape Town. Registration is from 8am to 8.55am, with the main event taking place from 9am to 4pm. Attendance is free and seats can be booked here.
