Entries open for SAB Environmentalist Awards 2010

Categories

• print and internet (includes all newspapers, magazines and websites)
• radio and television (includes all broadcast media as well as independent filmmakers and production houses)
• Nick Steele Memorial Award for Environmentalist of the Year
• Magqubu Ntombela and Ian Player Cub Award honours environmental journalists starting out in the field

The first three awards each carry a cash prize of R20 000 and a trophy with merit prizes of R2 500 each. The last has a R7 500 prize and trophy.

Journalists are invited to submit their own work or editors, managers and colleagues may nominate the work of others. Go to www.sabenvironment.co.za to download entry forms.
