Infographics unpack Africa
Zoom Advertising, part of the Ogilvy group, has a new graphics package, Afrographique. The brainchild of Ivan Colic, an art director at Zoom, it is licensed exclusively to the agency.
This is Colic's contribution to assist the changing perception of Africa and its people though easily assimilated visual information.
Together with its sister sustainability agency, Ogilvy Earth, the agency has been quick to realize the benefits of offering Afrographique to clients. "It's not just about fun, eye-catching graphics but more about how facts can be made to stand out and stick in the mind. The word is spreading fast about it because, without any promotion of this service at all, we receive several calls a week from all kinds of businesses - not just our clients -wanting to know how they can visually depict interesting information in a more appealing and memorable way," says Steve Massey, Zoom MD.
