Rocketseed SA acquires Latitude
The over 80 accredited resellers and 1000 small business clients from Latitude is intended to further entrench Rocketseed's alleged leadership/market domination in southern Africa and see it extend its service and product offering to include small businesses and a range of digital services to new and existing customers.
Rob Love, MD of Rocketseed SA, said, “We always knew that our solution would add significant value to small business, but also fully understood the real challenges suppliers offering software as a service faces when attempting to successfully penetrate this vast and lucrative market.
“When Latitude presented their marketing plan and strategy to us in 2006, we were impressed by their knowledge of the small business market and their innovative approach to overcoming the challenges of distribution and resistance to technology.”
According to Love, over the last 18 months it has seen Latitude successfully executing against this strategy, establishing a growing national distribution network that offers clients a cost-effective solution, backed-up by “an effortless and hassle-free implementation”.
He continued, “The acquisition makes absolute business sense to us as it slots in perfectly with our global brand, third party distribution and small business roll-out strategy, as well as improving operational cost and marketing efficiencies.
“We are extremely bullish about the future, compounded by the fact that a growing number of businesses are realising the extraordinary opportunity business email offers them as perhaps their most powerful and consensual marketing channel.”
