Rodney Kowalski suspended from duties at Bay FM

The Board of Directors of Bay FM regrets to announce that the station manager Rodney Kowalski has been suspended from his duties until further notice. As Bay FM is a community station it was felt that this situation should be revealed to the public through the correct channels in the interests of transparency.

An investigation is to take place into certain matters which are to remain confidential at this stage as it is not known whether Mr. Kowalski is guilty of these allegations. He will also not be returning to the breakfast show time slot for the remainder of the week, and Mio will take this position for the time being.

Previous Breakfast Show host, Jay, will return to the timeslot as of Monday, 20th December as previously advertised. The Board also do not feel it necessary to release the details of the suspension as this may harm the reputation of Mr Kowalski, and this is not their intention. It is the hope of the company that this may be resolved amicably and for the best interests of Bay FM and the community as a whole.
