Molife Kumona appointed new GQ South Africa editor-in-chief
Molife Kumona has been appointed as editor-in-chief of GQ South Africa, effective 20 November 2020. Kumona will take over the role from Nkosiyati Khumalo (Yati) who has been the publication's editor-in-chief since 1 July 2017.
Kumona has over a decade of experience in the publishing industry, having previously worked as head of digital and online editor at Condé Nast South Africa, online editor for Drum Magazine (Media24) and digital community manager for South Africa and Nigeria at WeChat Africa (Tencent Africa).
Kumona also has a BA Media Studies degree from Open University, a marketing and media diploma, as well as several digital marketing qualifications.
