Ligwalagwala FM's DJ Sdunkero took the overall winner of the MTN Record of the Year category at the South African Music Awards held in Sun City this past weekend. Sdunkero was nominated for his “Maputo Song” from his album Edladleni Volume 1. “The third of May 2008 will forever be a memorable day to me because I was able [to] attract the recognition that Mpumalanga province deserves,” he comments.
