Art Wolfe, described as one of the world's leading fine art and travel photographers, will be brought to South Africa for the first time by C4 Images and Safaris to present two one-day seminars and two four-day photo workshops in April 2012.
The one-day seminars will be a discussion on the art of composition where Wolfe will utilise his formal training as a fine art painter and art education instructor to dissect visual image examples and explore - in depth - what makes for compelling and emotionally engaging photographs.
During the four-day workshops, he will engage with those attending on a one-on-one basis.
Experience
Over the course of his 35-year career Wolfe has worked on every continent and in hundreds of locations. His images record the world's fast-disappearing wildlife, landscapes and native cultures, a source of inspiration photographers and nature lovers alike. He has produced more than a million images and published 60 books, with The Living selling over 70 000 copies.
Seminars
The one-day seminar at R1300 per person includes a full day presentation along with meals:
- Johannesburg - 4 April 2012
- Cape Town - 6 April 2012
The four-day photo workshops are in Arniston (8-11 and 11-14 April) at R13 500 per person sharing or R15 500 for singles.
