To listen to their messages, all an MTN subscriber needs to do is dial *111# and put the phone down. A return message notifying the customer to expect an international voicemail retrieval call will be sent, followed by a call connecting them to their voicemail system. Here they can listen to their voice messages as if they had dialed into their voicemail boxes themselves.
MTN subscribers using the International Voicemail Retrieval service will not be charged for the USSD request call, but will be charged for the duration of the call according to the customer's price plan.
