Stories of triumph and perseverance this Sunday on SABC1
This episode of the 13-part series takes a closer look at the inspiring life of Lucas Sithole, a wheelchair-bound tennis player who is currently South Africa's number one ranked player in the Quad division, and no 10 on the world rankings. The episode will also feature one of South Africa's youngest jewellery makers, Max Dichaba, who is now focused on broadening jewellery making skills in the Free State province through the Dichaba Shool of Jewellery which he built to train young people.
The NYDA's executive manager: Communications, Linda Dlova says, "Our plan is to tell exceptional stories of young people, thus acknowledge their contribution to society. More importantly, we hope that these compelling stories will also inspire other youth into action. The response we've been receiving from young people after the first episode has been great and we look forward to engaging them across all platforms including social media whilst also creating awareness about the NYDA's programmes, products and services offering."
The Limitless Youth TV series is hosted by popular radio drive time anchor, Rofhiwa Bologo aka TholiB. The show will run for consecutive 13 weeks. For more, go to www.nyda.gov.za, call 0800 52 52 52 (toll free) and follow @NYDARSA and #LimitlessYouthShow on Twitter.
