Women's month will kick off on Saturday 4 August with Beautiful People, a series about a single mother and her teenage daughters who must adjust to the fashionable and fabulous life of New York in order to survive and prosper in the city that never sleeps.
The hilarious new series of William and Mary, involving the ordinary lives of William, an undertaker and Mary, a midwife, who become romantically involved, starts on 11 August 2007. The series takes some interesting turns, delivering combined drama and romance in a side-splitting and highly unpredictable plot.
The following weekend marks the start of Cold Feet, a moving series bringing the lives of three couples into your living room. Each couple is in a different stage in their relationships and share a friendship as a result of having experienced an HIV/AIDS awareness programme together.
‘Remarkable Women' month concludes the weekend of 25 and 26 August with a remarkable women movie marathon of movies such as Housewife 49 and Augusta Gone, which will premier alongside popular favourites such as Ambulance Girl and many more.
Housewife 49 is set in Northern England during World War II and tells the story of an unhappy housewife who becomes involved in the Women's Voluntary Service, while Augusta Gone, based on actual events from the novel of the same name, explores single parenthood and teenage rebellion.
