Great future predicted for Jacaranda 94.2 psychic

Due to phenomenal interest, Jacaranda 94.2 has added a new personality to their Monday and Wednesday programming - Gauteng medium, Michaela.

Introduced as a tester in mid-morning programming, the response to Michaela has been unprecedented, according to station programme manager Lloyd Madurai: "She did listeners' readings on air giving them predictions based on concerns they had. She's perfectly credible and was confirmed to be very accurate by all listeners. This 'test' proved to be so popular that our switchboard almost crashed due to the magnitude of calls we received - 240 within the first hour of her being on air. People were phoning our directory number and all other direct numbers they have because they couldn't get through on the studio lines."

Madurai reports that the station has received more emails for people wanting to make contact with her than mails received for even the biggest competitions run on the station, noting that Michaela has cross gender appeal. "Based on the response we've had in both phone calls and emails, people in their 20's seem predominantly to want to know about their careers; the 30's trend is more about their relationships and or family matters whilst the 40's to early 50's have questions about their children. The bulk of messages indicate an audience for Michaela sitting in the mid 30's.

As a result of the mass interest in having her on air, Jacaranda 94.2 has decided to make Michaela a permanent content feature. She can be heard on Mondays between 12:00 and 13:00 as part of Work Zone with Clayton Robbertze and again on Wednesday evenings between 21h00 and 22h00 during the Love Zone with Morne Zeelie.
