Just-Ice takes over breakfast at Radio 2000

Previously the host of the Source, 1pm - 4pm weekdays, Just-Ice will now be driving Radio 2000's breakfast show, 6am - 10am, as of today, Friday, 1 August 2000. The afternoon drive time will be taken over by Makhosi Khoza, who joins the SABC from Igagazi FM.

Khoza, who hails from Mbabane, Swaziland, holds a B Com, a Diploma in Industrial Relations and a Brand Management Diploma, will be co-hosting the show with Jacqueline “Jackee” Strydom. The latter is better known to the industry as DJ Sexa but will be known as Thando on Radio 2000. “I'm really excited about being part [of] Radio 2000, it's great being national and able to touch people's lives on a greater scale. I'm in an amazing place in my life.”

Nicole da Silva, who anchored the station's breakfast show, joins Kamza on The Eight Till Late with Nicole & Kamza.

Radio 2000's station manager Carlito Sheikh comments, “As a national radio station we pride ourselves on attracting the best regional on air talent from across the country. We are extremely delighted that Radio 2000 has managed to attract these household names and look forward to these personalities creating exciting powerful meaningfully radio.”
