Launch for Sport Industry Awards
In 2011, the Sport Industry Group will issue its inaugural Sport Industry Awards to recognise and reward the best that South African sport business has to offer in categories covering marketing, PR, sponsorship, media, advertising and design. To launch the awards, which are sponsored by Virgin Active, the Sport Industry Group is hosting a drinks reception at Emperors Palace on 3 February 2010 at 6.30pm.
Nick Keller, chair of the Sport Industry Group, will host the party, which is expected to see representatives from an array of brands, agencies, governing bodies and sport franchises in the South African sport industry.
Awards ambassador and former Springbok captain Bobby Skinstad will host an interview with fellow ambassadors and South African sporting icons, Lucas Radebe and Natalie du Toit, after which there will be an opportunity for all attendees to interact in an open Q&A session.
