Huisgenoot, You get award winner on redesign

"We decided it's time for something new, fresh and modern. Both magazines are growing as our readers change and we know people's time is precious. The new look will catch your eye at first glance. It's a quick read and you'll be able to find your favourite stories in a flash," says Izelle Venter, editor-in-chief of Huisgenoot, You and Drum.

The magazines are now divided into four categories: News, Lifestyle and Advice, Hey You (for young readers) and Entertainment.

The design is structured so that breaking stories can be included just before going to print to ensure readers get the latest news. The cover barkers are also clearer and the masthead bigger. The result is a cleaner, fresher look.
