All the Media24 Magazine Excellence Awards winners
Media24 Magazines recently announced the winners in its 2011 Magazine Excellence Awards. Peer panels from within the division judged entries in the respective categories and, from these winners, Angus Powers of Sports Illustrated was named Journalist of the Year.
"It's a real privilege to have Angus on our team," says Sports Illustrated editor Ami Kapilevich. "His nose for a good story, natural insight, and vast knowledge [has] made Sports Illustrated the quality publication it is today.
"I always look forward to it when he files a piece. He's also a lekker guy."
