Supernova launched for curious kids

BK Publishing has recently launched a new hand-illustrated children's magazine, which aims to inform as well as entertain. Supernova intends to promote life-long learning and its articles will cover science, world cultures, technology, social issues and ecology.

The launch of Supernova took place on 9 September, 2011, when advertisers Sci-Bono, Riso, the Origins Center and EWT joined the BK team for a glass of wine at National Book Week. Many educators and school librarians were intrigued by the amount of information packed into such a small publication.

In order to raise awareness and to introduce the magazine, BK Publishing has launched a schools marketing campaign, to promote Supernova and to build the subscriber base.

BK Publishing would like to thank all of the employees and interns who have been involved with the development of the magazine, as well as the sponsors and the advertisers who have taken a chance in partnering the new venture.

Subscriptions and individual copies of Supernova are available to the public and institutions via the supernovamagazine.co.za website.
