"iBurst has historically not had a strong in-store retail presence. By opening further showrooms in other cities and expanding our reseller network, we believe this to be a step in the right direction towards achieving the desired result," says Callia Doucas, marketing manager at iBurst.
The showroom follows the trend, both locally and abroad, towards direct customer contact that growing numbers of small and medium-sized businesses are following for building long-term relationships with their clients.
Doucas adds that iBurst subscribers can now enjoy greater personal contact offered by the new showroom. "Internet and telephone-based customer care offer speedy resolution of most queries but nothing beats being able to see the person you are talking to," she says.
New iBurst subscribers are able to test and purchase iBurst products at the Sandton showroom. Two sales experts are permanently stationed at the showroom and technical experts are also available to assist subscribers.
Trading hours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, Saturday from 9am - 1pm, and public holidays from 9am - 12pm.
