Sunday Times and The Times 2008 Career Awards will reveal South Africa's top recruitment advertising agencies at a ceremony to be held at Summer Place in Hyde Park, Johannesburg . The awards recognise the best advertising agencies, as well as the best recruitment advertisements, from across the country. They also acknowledge one key individual from the sector, who is nominated by the industry for the Achiever of the Year Award.
“In maintaining our role as advertising thought-leaders we are excited to announce that this year we have created a new award for the best employer branding campaign. We have seen that businesses no longer just advertise positions, but are in fact using recruitment advertising to promote their company as a brand,” says Enver Groenewald, Avusa Media GM: advertising revenue and strategic communications.
“Recruitment employer branding campaigns often spread across various media, so we will be looking for consistency in their message and design across all elements.”
