Time running out for eighth PAMRO conference registration
The deadline for registration for the eighth Pan African Media Research Organisation (PAMRO) conference in Cape Town - and to take advantage of the special rate at The Commodore Hotel - is 29 August 2006. This year's conference takes the theme of "Spreading our Wings", with an expanded focus on media-related matters, as well as technical audience measurement issues.
A number of sponsors have already come on board to make the event a memorable one. Delegates can look forward to a sponsored trip to Robben Island, goodie bags and even sponsored Internet access. The latest sponsor is Nokia, which is providing a business phone from its E series range to be raffled.
The event, which is hosted by South African Advertising Research Foundation (SAARF), will also see the first awarding of the PAMRO Achiever of the Year Award.
