Durban FilmMart offers opportunities
The Durban FilmMart (DFM), which takes place 22-25 July 2011 during the 32nd Durban International Film Festival, 21-31 July, will facilitate meetings with film financiers and co-producers for selected projects, to stimulate film production in Africa.

Alongside existing programmes for fiction projects, opportunities for documentary filmmakers will be strengthened by its invitation to local and international commissioning editors.
Strong interest has already been expressed in the potential for DFM to unearth and profile a presentation of viable projects from around the continent of Africa. Documentary, fiction and transmedia projects should apply online at www.durbanfilmmart.com before the submission deadline of 15 February 2011.
