Course on wildlife filmmaking
Are you passionate about wildlife? Do you have a desire to learn more about wildlife filmmaking? The Wildlife Film Academy has four spaces available for its April/May 2007 course.
The one-month intensive wildlife filmmaking course, held in Cape Town, offers inspirational and informative wildlife filmmaking lectures by industry professionals. It includes a spectacular all-expenses paid field trip to a premier game reserve to film wildlife in close proximity, and the use of state-of-the-art editing equipment. Each student, under the tutorage of post-production experts, produces his or her own five-minute short film.
The course fee includes: professional tuition, access to the latest camera equipment, a week-long location shoot, daily lunches at the Academy, individual editing suites with the latest software, a list of key industry contacts, assistance in organising internships after the course, free entry to the annual four-day wildlife film festival held in South Africa, Durban Wild Talk Africa (www.wildtalkafrica.com), plus assistance in raising funding for future films.
The course runs 18 April – 18 May, with four places available. For further information, go to www.wildlifefilmacademy.com or contact the Wildlife Film Academy on +27 (0)21 422 2644.
